FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does Ontario need a job offer?
Not for the Express-Entry-aligned streams. Employer Job Offer streams do require a qualifying offer from an Ontario employer.
Is there an entrepreneur route?
Yes — the OINP Entrepreneur Stream requires net worth of CAD 400k–800k and investment of CAD 200k–600k depending on location and sector.
How long does OINP take?
Provincial nomination usually issues within 60–90 days of a complete application; federal PR then follows Express Entry timelines (~6 months).
